A Christmas tree located in the lobby includes a special "wish list stars"for children's prizes. Players or anyone may pick up a star and sign up to make it a wonderful Christmas for that child. On Dec. 9 there will be a tennis social with food and prizes for the people that have picked up a star and granted a child's wish with presents. The social will be free for all of those helping out. Turn north on Dozier Road, go past the golf courses, pay toll at toll bridge. Turn right into the Emerald Mountain Store and park on the far east side of the parking lot away from the gas pumps. (No Toll) Take US 231 north from Montgomery. Cross the Tallapoosa River. Turn right onto Elmore County Road 8 (Redland Road) at the first traffic signal beyond the bridge. Drive about 1.5 miles and turn right onto Elmore County Road 4 (Rifle Range Road). The Emerald Mountain store is on the right about 1.5 miles ahead. Park on the far east side of the parking lot away from the gas pumps. The categories of rides range from moderate (16 to 18 miles per hour) to fast (18 to 20 plus miles per hour) and cover of distance of 50 to 60 miles. Helmets are required.
