The Gazette - One person was killed and three Iowans were injured Saturday in a three-vehicle pileup on U.S. Highway 30 and Marshall County Road S52, according to the Iowa State Patrol.Pamula Schau, 59, of Clemons, was killed. Michael Schau, 60, also of Clemons was airlifted to a Des Moines hospital.Kyle Mulinix, 24, of Melbourne was taken to a Marshalltown hospital for injuries. Joseph Zachar, Jr., 66, of Cedar Rapids, was injured but not taken to a hospital, the state patrol said.Information on their conditions was unavailable tonight.The state patrol said the collision happened at 4:51 p.m., as Zachar and Michael Schau were driving west on Highway 30 near County Road S52. When Schau slowed and nearly stopped to turn south onto S52, Zachar failed to slow down, rear-ending Schau's vehicle, state patrol said.Immediately after the collision, Mulinix and#8212; who was traveling east on Highway 30 and unable to stop and#8212; also rear-ended Schau's vehicle, state patrol said....
