Wichita Eagle - A Wichita man hurt in a car-motorcycle crash Saturday that killed his wife remains in critical condition at a local hospital.Gregory P. Gilman, 45, and his wife, Patricia, 48, were riding in north Wichita shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday when a car pulling onto the K-254 ramp from northbound I-235 forced the Gilmans'motorcycle into a guardrail, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.Patricia Gilman died of injuries suffered in the crash, and Gregory Gilman is being treated at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus. Neither was wearing a helmet.Authorities are still searching for the driver of the second vehicle....

Wichita Eagle - A Wichita woman was killed and her husband critically injured this morning when their motorcycle was forced off the road by a driver who left the scene of the accident in north Wichita.The Kansas Highway Patrol said Patricia M. Gilman, 48, died of injuries suffered in the 2:07 a.m. crash. The driver, Gregory P. Gilman, 45, was in critical condition at Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus. Neither was wearing a helmet.The Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on northbound I-235 when the driver of a car that had taken the northbound I-135 exit changed his mind and decided to go east on K-254.The patrol said the driver backed up on the highway and was pulling onto the K-254 ramp when the car forced the motorcycle into a guardrail....
