Asbury Park Press - A man working for a professional tree-cutting service accidentally cut an electrical wire and suffered an electrical shock causing him to lose consciousness Tuesday, police said.The accident happened at 11:32 a.m. on Lakeside Drive South near Beverly Drive, Lt. James Veltri said.The man, whose identity was being withheld by police, was found dangling from a rope and was rescued by an unrelated crew that was in the area with a bucket truck, witnesses said.The victim was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River, police said.A helicopter at the township's public works department was prepared to fly the victim to hospital but the victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital....

Asbury Park Press - A Beverly man was charged Monday with the armed robbery of a Burlington Township bank earlier this month.Anthony Pack, 20, is charged with bank robbery and using a firearm during a crime of violence.Authorities contend he robbed the Beneficial Savings Bank branch on Sunset Road about 3:20 p.m. on June 19. Pack, who allegedly carried a handgun and wore a black ski mask during the holdup, was spotted by police and caught after a car and foot chase.He is to appear in federal court July 11....
