Asbury Park Press - The rear door of a mini-van popped open and gunfire erupted from inside, striking a man in the hand in Millville Tuesday night, police said.Gerald Butler, 19, ran but was struck in the right hand, police said.It was at least the second incident of gunfire in two nights at Delsea Gardens, an apartment complex in the 2200 block of South 2nd Street.Family members transported Butler, who is from Vineland, to South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center before police arrived.Police said the victim's injury did not appear life-threatening.The assailant fired a small caliber weapon eight or nine times before the van fled, police said.Butler was near the complex's office when the shooting began. Police responded at 8:46 p.m.Authorities recovered several "small caliber projectiles,"a press release said.Monday night, a bullet pierced the wall of an apartment from outside at Delsea Gardens.No one was hurt....
