Carjacked vehicle found; 2 arrests Found: 2 Months 1 Week 1 Day 21 Hours 48 Minutes ago Charlotte Observer - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police apparently solved at least one of the three carjackings that took place early Thursday morning in the city.Police report arresting two suspects after a chase involving a minivan that had been carjacked about 18 hours earlier.About 7:35 p.m. Thursday, officers from CMPD's Street Crimes Division spotted a silver 2005 Dodge Caravan and determined it was the same vehicle that had been taken by force from a woman shortly after midnight in the University City area. The vehicle was seen on West Boulevard near Barringer Drive.Police say the minivan's driver refused to pull over, and a pursuit began. The chase ended, police say, when the Caravan's driver crashed on Orr Road in northeast Charlotte.Police say a man and woman in the vehicle were arrested at the scene....
