sale will highlight the 2008 Home Show, a three-day event that begins at 10 a.m. Friday and runs through Sunday at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.Sponsored by the Horry Georgetown Home Builders Association, the event - in its 29th year - showcases products and services for the home and garden. The big thrust this year is on green design and decorating for the holidays, so visitors can expect to learn more about the latest in green products and how to decorate the perfect tree or create table arrangements for the holiday table. Admission is $5. More than 350 booths will showcase everything from plants and trees to pools and spas. Vendors on Thursday worked like carpenter bees to build booths to showcase their products. Fork lifts carried loads of concrete pavers for one display while workers at another booth snapped cork floors into place to showcase the latest in eco-friendly flooring. Nearby, shiny ornaments sat poised in a box, awaiting their placement on one of several Christmas trees that will be decked out in the latest and trendiest holiday decor....
