The Daily Republic - STURGIS, S.D. (AP) - The attorney for a Hells Angel shot in a bar scuffle during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in August has asked a judge to order authorities to provide more information about the investigation.

The Daily Republic - As the first performers at the final round of the "Wesleyan Idol" competition, Tanner LaValliere and Derik Fossum were hoping for a strong start.
Dressed in plaid shirts and jeans, the duo attempted to cue the recorded accompaniment for their version of the Barenaked Ladies' "One Week." The sound operator, however, wasn't cooperating.
Singing the first two words of the song, "It's been," Fossum suddenly stopped. There was no accompanying music.
"Just kidding," he said to the audience. "It hasn't."
Eventually, though, the music played on during the finals of the annual competition at Dakota Wesleyan University, with LaValliere of Sioux Falls, and Fossum, of Canton, taking home the top prize of $500.

After transferring from Creighton before her freshman season even began last year, the former Mitchell Christian standout was forced to sit out a year due to NCAA transfer rules. Because she played in one of the team's exhibition games last year, she was forced to sit out this year's opener at Missouri as well.
But she's finally back on the court now, and she's been thrown right into the fire.
