Found: 4 Months 2 Weeks 1 Day 6 Hours 3 Minutes ago Commercial Appeal - Change of command: Larry Pugh of Tupelo has been named assistant of chief of fisheries for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, replacing Bubba Hubbard who retired in 2007. For the past decade Pugh has served as the District 1 fisheries biologist, overseeing 10 state lakes, Pickwick Lake and the Tenn-Tom Waterway. Pugh, who grew up in Vicksburg and is a graduate of Mississippi State, also compiled the annual Mississippi Bass tournament report. Jason Olive, an Alabama native and Mississippi State graduate, will replace Pugh, according to former Memphian Ron Garavelli, the state agency's fisheries chief. Olive has been a biologist with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for the past four years.
