Rome No trick-or-treat hours, instead a Halloween party, sponsored by the Rome Community Auxiliary, is held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Rome Town Hall for children 11 years and younger. The party will include games, costume judging, a clown, treat bags, cookies, ice cream and refreshments.

Fire destroys pole shed Found: 2 Months 2 Weeks 7 Hours 30 Minutes ago The Daily Tribune - HANSEN A Sunday night fire destroyed a pole shed on Maplewood Road, Hansen.The cause and origin to the shed, owned by Mike and Tina Fox, is undetermined at this time, Pittsville Fire Chief Jerry Minor said.
The Pittsville Fire Department received the call about the fire at 5775 Maplewood Road at 9 p.m. Sunday, Minor said. The Vesper, Arpin and Richfield fire departments assisted at the scene.
The 50-by-150 foot shed was a total loss.
Although two other structures were threatened, firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to them, Minor said. There were no injuries....
