Marshfield News-Herald - APPLETON Colby forced three second-half turnovers and held off Fond du Lac St. Marys Springs 25-20 in a WIAA Division 5 football state semifinal Saturday at Appleton North High School.The Hornets will play Cedar Grove-Belgium in the Division 5 state championship game at 4 p.m. Thursday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. Cedar Grove beat Lancaster 24-0 on Saturday.
Colby is making its third trip to the state finals and first since winning the Division 4 title in 1998. Colby lost in the D-4 finals in 1985.
