Found: 2 Weeks 3 Hours 7 Minutes ago The Daily Tribune - Three people involved in a shooting Tuesday near Zenoff Park could be charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide and conspiracy after a 50-year-old Rosholt man was shot in an apparent murder-for-hire scheme.Linda Dietze, 23, of Plover, Carlos Cummings, 25, of Stevens Point and the victims wife, Carla Glodowski, 43, of Rosholt, appeared via video in Portage County Circuit Court on Thursday. All three are scheduled back in court Dec. 2.
The three suspects were held in connection with Tuesdays shooting, each on a $50,000 cash bond.
James Glodowski was shot around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday near the 1000 block of Second Street North. He is in fair condition at Saint Josephs Hospital in Marshfield. He was shot once in the head and three times in the shoulder.
The three havent been formally charged in connection with the shooting, but Portage County District Attorney Tom Eagon said he expects charges by Dec. 2.
In court, Eagon said Dietze was to be paid $4,000 to shoot James Glodowski. Dietze called James Glodowski and told him to meet her at the park where they play bingo. Dietze told James Glodowski she had evidence his wife was cheating and had money James Glodowski was owed.
Cummings dropped off Dietze in the Zenoff Park parking lot, then parked the car nearby. Dietze walked to James Glodowskis truck, handed him a VHS tape and shot him, Eagon said.
Dietze told Glodowski she was sorry, and told him his wife made her do it, he said.
Eagon said Carla Glodowski said she could not divorce James Glodowski, and he needed to be gotten rid of.
At the scene, the victim identified Dietze to authorities by her first name, and said his wife could provide her last name, Eagon said.
Stevens Point Deputy Chief of Police Jim Dowling said the nature of the relationships among the four is unclear, but said the victim knew Dietze through his wife.
