Marshfield News-Herald - A 33-year-old Rib Lake man was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years of prison followed by 15 years of extended supervision after he was convicted of two counts of first degree sexual assault of a child under 13 and two counts of second degree sexual assault of a child stemming from Marathon County incidents. The convictions arise from incidents that occurred in Rib Lake and Stratford, where Jay Jay Neubauer sexually assaulted a 9-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl multiple times.
A strong message has been sent by the court today that crimes against children will not be tolerated in Taylor County, saidTaylor County District Attorney Karl Kelz in a statement. My office will continue to aggressively prosecute such crimes.
Neubauer will begin his sentence immediately....
